Halo & Field — Refund & Returns Policy

Last updated: 9 July 2026

Our Commitment to You

Welcome to the Halo & Field Refund & Returns Policy. We want every order to bring a little more warmth and light into your space — so if something isn't right, we're here to sort it out quickly and fairly.

This policy explains your rights when you buy from us, including your statutory rights as a UK consumer under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Rights Act 2015. Nothing in this policy limits or replaces those rights.

Changed Your Mind? You Have 30 Days

UK law requires us to offer at least a 14-day cooling-off period on online orders — we go further and give you 30 days from the day you receive your order to change your mind, no reason required.

To qualify:

  • Let us know within 30 days of receiving your order.
  • The item should be unused and, where possible, returned in its original packaging. You're welcome to check it over as you would in a shop; if it comes back used or damaged beyond that, we may deduct an amount from your refund to reflect the loss in value.
  • Made-to-order or personalised pieces can't be returned for change of mind (unless faulty) — we'll flag this clearly on the product page where it applies. (Delete this bullet if you don't sell any made-to-order or personalised items.)

You'll be refunded the price you paid plus the standard delivery charge. Return postage is at your own cost, unless the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong thing.

Faulty, Damaged, or Not as Described

If your item arrives faulty, damaged, or doesn't match how it was described, you're protected by the Consumer Rights Act 2015:

  • Within 30 days of delivery — you can reject the item for a full refund, including the original delivery charge, with no deductions. We'll also cover the return postage.
  • 30 days to 6 months — we'll offer a repair or replacement first. If that doesn't work, or isn't done within a reasonable time, you're entitled to a full refund or a price reduction.
  • After 6 months — you may still be covered. Get in touch and we'll talk you through your options.

How to Request a Refund or Return

Email us at contact@haloandfield.com with your order number and a quick line on what's happened (or just that you've changed your mind — no explanation needed for that one). We'll come back to you with next steps, including where to send the item.

Refunds — How and When

Once we've received your return, or you've given us proof of postage, we'll process your refund within 14 days, back to your original payment method.

Outside the UK?

This policy is written for orders delivered within the UK. If you're ordering from elsewhere, some terms may vary — just get in touch and we'll clarify.
